Venus Rising is an educational leadership and acceleration ecosystem building financial literacy, emergent strategy, and advocacy skills for women to thrive as equity-centered entrepreneurs.

An Entrepreneurship Ecosystem that Works for Women

Venus Rising is a new kind of accelerator and public-private partnership for women entrepreneurs. We marry space, continuing education, and connectivity to help women develop a bias for risk taking and action.

The University of Minnesota’s Hubbard School and Holmes Center, with the proven power of The Coven, will build a new entrepreneurial ecosystem that prioritizes the experiences of women, non-binary, and trans folks on the rise. Our physical and digital communities will plug early entrepreneurs into the resources they need to take leaps, get funded, and reinvest their wealth back into their communities.

From financial literacy to hiring inclusively, Venus Rising is building the next iteration of the global economy in the heart of the United States. A vibrant community built on the foundation of belonging, Venus Rising’s goal is to increase the number of successful, sustainable, and profitable businesses owned by women. It will build and unleash the power of a generation of business leaders by scaling up effective programs in Minnesota, nationally.
