About the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications

ACEJMC accredits programs in journalism and mass communications at colleges and universities in the United States, Puerto Rico and outside the country. Programs requesting a review by ACEJMC are evaluated every six years and, after the evaluative process, receive one of three determinations: accredited/reaccredited, provisional or denial. For more information: www.acejmc.org

Graduation & Retention Rates

The Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication is accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (ACEJMC). In adherence to ACEJMC standards, graduation and retention data must be available to the public. This data only includes the Hubbard School undergraduate program, for those students admitted as freshman. The retention rate was calculated as the percentage of students who did not depart the University, regardless of whether they changed their major to one outside of the Hubbard School.
