What minors, internships, or activities are you pursuing outside of your majors?
I’m majoring in Strategic Communication with minors in psychology and interdisciplinary design. I am the social media chair of Ad Club and have done social media content for other accounts in the past as well. I will be studying and interning in Australia this summer and I am hoping to intern at an agency in the future!
 
Why did you pick your major?
I chose my focus after conducting informational interviews with people in a couple different areas. I would definitely recommend this because it will give you a great idea of the day-to-day and whether that sounds like something you would enjoy in the future. 
 
What course or professor would you recommend for other students in your major?
We have the best professors. They are all so helpful! I am loving my class with Mark Jenson and would definitely recommend taking a class with him or just chatting. 
 
What advice do you have for future Hubbard School students?
A piece of advice I would give to future HSJMC students would be to take a wide array of classes rather than focusing in too much. I thought I was just interested in the creative side of advertising, but I love my account planning class and am considering going in that direction.
