Professional Networking Day is for current HSJMC majors who want to:

12-1:30pm: Keynote luncheon with Washington Post reporter Pulitzer-prize winner David Fahrenthold.
Sit at a table with industry professionals who can answer your burning questions about getting job, going freelance, negotiating, standing out in interviews and more.
1:30-2:30pm: Breakout Session 1: Setbacks and Stretches.
Industry professionals will share stories of road blocks or problems they've overcome, or share times they've pushed beyond their comfort level to jump their career forward.
- There will be two panels/rooms for this topic: one for journalism track students and one for strategic communication students.
- Hear from panelists who work at: Star Tribune, MPR, KARE 11, FAME Retail, Post Consumer Brands, Boston Scientific and more

Learn best practices, tips and tricks for networking, making client presentations, interviewing, personal skills and building relationships. Hear from panelists who work at: CHS, University of Minnesota, Bellmont Partners
