12-1:30pm: Keynote luncheon with Washington Post reporter Pulitzer-prize winner David Fahrenthold. 

Sit at a table with industry professionals who can answer your burning questions about getting job, going freelance, negotiating, standing out in interviews and more.

1:30-2:30pm: Breakout Session 1: Setbacks and Stretches. 

Industry professionals will share stories of road blocks or problems they've overcome, or share times they've pushed beyond their comfort level to jump their career forward. 

  • There will be two panels/rooms for this topic: one for journalism track students and one for strategic communication students.
  • Hear from panelists who work at: Star Tribune, MPR, KARE 11, FAME Retail, Post Consumer Brands, Boston Scientific and more
