The University of Minnesota Hubbard School of Journalism & Mass Communication Strategic Advisory Board helps guide the ongoing evolution of the Master’s in Strategic Communication program, bringing industry perspectives that inform curriculum, program direction and emerging areas of practice like AI-career readiness. Board members provide valuable insight into the skills communications professionals need to lead effectively in a rapidly changing world.
The board brings together accomplished leaders from a wide range of industries, including healthcare, nonprofit organizations, higher education, journalism, public relations, corporate communications, marketing agencies and entrepreneurial ventures. Members include CEOs, founders, chief marketing officers, chief communications officers, chiefs of staff and senior communication and strategy leaders from organizations such as the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, University of Minnesota, ServeMinnesota, UnitedHealth Group, Target, Fast Horse and the Star Tribune.
