The Minnesota Journalism Center works to support a more vibrant, equitable and sustainable ecosystem for journalism in Minnesota through educational initiatives; outreach and engagement; and applied research.
The Center creates opportunities for student journalists to gain hands-on experiences working in newsrooms and reporting in the field; establishes and maintains support mechanisms to ensure a robust and diverse pipeline of future media professionals; and facilitates collaboration with researchers around fostering healthy, more sustainable and more inclusive local news ecosystems across Minnesota.
