Assistant Professor Ben Toff will detail findings from the first report of the Reuters Institute's Trust in News Project, which draws on 82 interviews with journalists across Brazil, India, the UK, and the U.S. The report argues that there is no single "trust in news" problem but instead multiple challenges involving the supply of news and the public’s demand for information. The presentation will also include a discussion of the project's ongoing and future data collection efforts.
