MN Society of Professional Journalists Intern Night

Panel Discussion + Small Group Networking

Do news media internships still exist during the pandemic? If you land one, will you ever see the inside of a newsroom? How can a student possibly survive a remote internship?

The 2020 Minnesota SPJ Intern Night is a great opportunity to hear about journalism internships throughout the state, network with media professionals and meet fellow journalism students from local colleges -- remotely, naturally -- while learning how to navigate the brave new world of online internships.

No previous internship experience is required to attend!

Panelists will include media professionals and intern managers from the Star Tribune, Minnesota Monthly, MPR/American Public Media, Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, the Mankato Free Press and the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Once the panel's over, put on your most professional Zoom face/background and dive into small group networking sessions with two or more of our amazing panelists!
